4. The fourth verse is to be sung all in one breath, with the only pause after "variety." Take another breath for the "tiddle-dums," then make a long pause at the end of the stanza as an imaginary purĀchase goes on.
5. Repeat the first verse softly as the peddler passes from hearing. |
